Welcome to Enamel Art Judaica
EnamelArtsJudaica.com is a web site owned and operated by Enamel Arts Studio, Inc.
We are a small family operated jewlery design studio located in Metuchen, NJ,
owned by Vladimir Radchenko and his wife Helena.
Vladimir started designing jewelry in the early 1970s in Moscow. In 1978 his
dream came true – he and his future wife Helena emigrated from Russia. For the
next 10 years he created custom jewelry in Jerusalem in Beit Ot HaMuzar
(The Jerusalem House of Quality). He participated in several craft shows in
Israel. His works were praised in publications like ‘The Jerusalem Post’,
‘Living in Jerusalem’ and others. He became famous for his distinguished style,
original design and skillful workmanship.
After moving to New Jersey in 1988, Vladimir and Helena started a workshop
called Enamel Art Studio, Inc. where they designed and hand crafted enameled
jewelry. Among their designs they had interspersed Judaica pieces but at the
beginning of 2007 they decided to create a new line of Judaica jewelry.
Their choice of material is mostly enameled silver, natural pearls, precious and
semiprecious stones and Swarovsky crystal.
About Blessing Pendants.
Blessing pendant consists of two major parts: a glass tube with the Hebrew
prayer and a jewelry sterling silver case. After the tiny prayer scroll
is inserted into the glass tube, the tube is sealed from both sides and
then incorporated into the sterling silver pendant that is also sealed after
work is complete. The pendant is than enameled and decorated with Swarovski crystals.
The pendant is sent to the customer in a box accompanied by a small booklet containing
Hebrew text along with its English translation. Our standard choice for the prayer
is Thinah. But we can also put in the prayer for the voyage, for health or
any other prayer of your choice. An 18” sterling silver snake chain is included.
English translation of prayer of Thinah:
May it be Your will, Lord my God and God of my fathers, to be
gracious to me (and to my spouse, children, parents) and to all my
family; grant us and all Israel good and long life; remember us for good
and blessing; consider us for salvation and compassion; bless us with
great blessings; make our household complete, crowning our home with the
feeling of Your Divine Presence dwelling among us. Make me worthy to
raise learned children and grandchildren, who are wise and
understanding, who love and fear God, people of truth, holy and attached
to God, who will dazzle the world with Torah and goodness and service of
God. Please hear our prayers, in the merit of our matriarchs Sarah,
Rebecca, Rachel and Leah, and ensure that the glow of our lives will
never be dimmed. Show us the glow of Your face and we will be saved.
Amen.
